Old Bikes Wanted

Well, I’ve just put up some ads and posted to the Norwich listserv for old bikes. Right away I began getting responses. Some it seems, like the bikes at a Burlington metal recycler, are under deep snow. I’ll do what I have to, I’m going to need 12-14 more bikes – then I have to strip their parts and remove the paint. All that before any assembly can start!

The SculptCycle Adventure Begins

Just yesterday I learned that one of my sculpture proposals was accepted to SculptCycle, Montpelier’s city-wide outdoor art exhibit of sculpture featuring recycled bike parts!
